Beef Chiles Rellenos Casserole

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Canned whole green chilies 8 Ounce
  Shredded medium cheddar cheese 6 Ounce
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Eggs 4
  Milk 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Hot sauce 4 Dash
  Pepper 1 Dash
Directions

Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet, stirring to crumble beef; drain well.
Stir in 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and set aside.
Arrange half of chilies in a lightly greased 10- x 6- x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle With cheese; top with meat mixture.
Arrange remaining chiles over meat mixture.
Combine flour and 1/4 cup milk, blending until smooth.
Add eggs, 1 1/4 cups milk, hot sauce, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
Pour over casserole.
Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Cut into squares.
