|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Combine milk and 2 cups sugar in saucepan; stir well.
Bring to a boil; cook for 15 minutes.
Place remaining sugar in iron skillet.
Melt, stirring con- stantly; add to milk mixture.
Add pecans and vanilla; stir until of spreading consistency.
Pour onto but- tered plate.
