Classic Arroz Con Pollo

Ingredients
  Broiler fryer chicken pieces 2 Pound
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Rice 1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked
  Saffron 1 Pinch
  Stewed tomatoes 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Green pepper 1 , chopped
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a baking pan, add the chicken and bake without a lid in an over preheated at 450°F for half an hour
2. Pour away the fat and arrange the chicken with onions in a three quart casserole
3. Sprinkle rice and saffron all around the chicken, add tomatoes, green pepper and salt, cover tightly and bake at 350°F for an hour

SERVING
4. Serve as per your tastes
