Hot Chili Con Queso

Ingredients
  Vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Chili powder 1 Tablespoon
  Tomatoes 1 Can (10 oz), drained
  Diced green chilies 1 Can (10 oz), drained
  Jalapeno peppers 2 , chopped
  Mild cheddar cheese 1 Pound, shredded
Directions

In skillet saute garlic and onion in oil for about 5 minutes.
Stir in flour and chili powder.
Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add tomatoes, chilies and peppers and continue cooking until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Over low heat, gradually add the cheese and stir until cheese is completely melted.
Serve hot.
