|Frijoles refritos||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Hot pepper sauce||3 Dash|
|Scallions||3 , sliced|
|Corn tortillas||6 , fried crisp and left flat|
|Monterey jack cheese||6 Ounce, cut into strips|
|Avocado||1 Medium, sliced into thin strips|
|Shredded sharp cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Salsa verde||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1 Prepare meat sauce and keep warm. Combine the beans with hot-pepper sauce and the chopped scallions. Add salt to taste.
2 Place a crisp-fried tortilla on each of 6 pottery plates. Spread some bean mixture on each and top with strips of Jack cheese, evenly dividing each ingredient. Preheat oven to 350°F.
3 Top the bean mixture with the meat sauce and heat for 30 minutes.
