Ingredients
  Fresh spinach 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Chopped onion 3 Tablespoon
  Bacon drippings 1 Tablespoon
  Ground red chilies 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

1 Wash spinach and remove stem ends. Steam in a medium-size saucepan for 10 minutes. Drain and chop.
2 Saute chopped onion in fat in a large skillet. Add spinach, chile and salt. Mix together. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
