New Mexican Hamburgers

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Black pepper To Taste
  Ground pure red chile 1 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Onion 1⁄2 Medium, finely chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Tabasco 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Tabasco 1 Dash
  Chopped green chile 2 Tablespoon
  Monterey jack cheese slice 4
  Sesame hamburger buns 4
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Basil/Tarragon 1 Teaspoon
Directions

1 Mix the beef with the next 8 ingredients. Shape into 4 flat patties. Broil in an oven or over charcoal to desired doneness.
2 Just before serving the burgers, melt a slice of cheese on top. Butter the buns and sprinkle with crushed tarragon or basil. Toast until lightly browned.
