|Shredded cheddar cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Shredded jack cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|8 inch flour tortillas||1|
|Mild red onion slice||1 , separated into rings|
|Seeded canned green chilies||1 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Teaspoon, melted|
Distribute Cheddar and jack cheese over half the tortilla to within 1/2 inch of edge; add onion and green chile, if used.
Sprinkle with Parmesan, if desired.
Fold tortilla over and brush top with melted butter.
Turn over onto a baking sheet and brush second side with butter.
Broil about 3 inches from heat until top is lightly browned (about 2 minutes).
Turn over and broil until other side is browned and cheese is melted (about 2 more minutes).
