Chicken Tamale Pie
|Condensed cheddar cheese soup||11 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned chicken/1 1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken||10 Ounce, flaked (2 Cans, 5 Ounce Each)|
|Uncooked minute rice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Canned tamales||25 Ounce|
In an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish combine cheese soup, tomato sauce, chicken, and rice.
Cover; cook at HIGH for 2 1/2 minutes.
Stir and cook at HIGH for 2 1/2 minutes.
Drain tamales, reserving liquid.
Stir reserved liquid into soup mixture.
Arrange tamales atop.
Cover; cook at HIGH for 12 minutes till rice is done.
