Mexican Garbanzo Beans

Ingredients
  Garbanzo beans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Stalk celery 1 , chopped
  Green pepper 1 , chopped
  Oil 3 Tablespoon
  Canned tomatoes 16 Ounce (1 Can)
  Oregano 1 Teaspoon
  Basil 1 Teaspoon
  Cumin 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Cook garbanzo beans according to preferred method.
Drain if desired.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet, saute onion, garlic, celery and green pepper in oil until tender.
Add tomatoes with their juice, breaking up the tomatoes into smaller pieces.
Combine sauteed vegetables with cooked garbanzo beans in a casserole, season with herbs, spices and salt to taste.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
