Jiffy Tamale Chili
|Minced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned chili con carne with beans||1 Pound (1 Can, 2 Cups)|
|Canned tamales||11 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Shredded sharp process cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cook onion and green pepper in butter till tender but not brown.
Remove shucks from tamales; arrange spoke-fashion on top.
Cover and heat 10 to 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese before serving.
