Mexican Potato Soup

Ingredients
  Bacon strips 3 , cut into small strips
  Potatoes 3 Large, peeled and cubed
  Water 5 Cup (80 tbs) (Or More)
  Tomato sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Green chilies 10 Ounce (Canned Whole / Chopped)
  Sharp cheese 1⁄2 Pound, grated
Directions

1 Brown the bacon in a large kettle. Add the potato cubes and stir until they are coated with drippings.
2 Add the water, tomato sauce, onion and salt. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 1 hour.
3 Place the green cilantro and grated cheese in 6 soup bowls. Spoon hot soup over them.
