|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Diced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned crushed tomatoes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped green chilies||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Hot sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Sliced green onions||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Stage1-In saucepan heat oil over medium heat; add onion and pepper and saute until onion is tender.
Stage2-Reduce heat, add remaining ingredients, except green onion, and let simmer until sauce thickens slightly, 6-8 minutes.
Stage3-Allow to cool and stir in green onion.
Stage4-Refrigerate and serve with white corn tortilla chips.
