Chili Con Carne In The Microwave

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Chili powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon (add more to taste)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Kidney beans 1 Can (10 oz), drained
  Tomato puree 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

1. Combine beef and onion in a 2-quart glass baking dish. Cover with waxed paper. Cook in microwave oven 5 minutes at HIGH, or until meat is no longer pink; stir several times.
2. Remove excess fat from dish. Stir flour and seasonings into meat mixture, then remaining ingredients. Cook uncovered in microwave oven 16 to 18 minutes at ROAST; stir occasionally.
