|Fresh lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Afiejo tequila||1 1⁄2 Ounce|
Fill a shallow dish with kosher salt.
Moisten the rim of a margarita glass and press it into the salt.
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the ginger slice, chile slice, sugar and fresh lemon juice.
Add the tequila, Cointreau and ice and shake.
Fill the salt-rimmed glass with ice and strain the cocktail over the ice.
Squeeze the juice from the lime wedge into the cocktail and fasten the wedge to the glass; serve immediately.
