Mexican Tomato And Onion Salad

Ingredients
  Head of lettuce 1 , coarsely torn
  Tomatoes 3 , peeled and sliced
  Onions 3 , thinly sliced
  Vegetable oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Layer one-third of lettuce, tomatoes, and onion in salad bowl; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Repeat layers.
Chill until ready to serve.
Combine oil and vinegar; pour over salad.
