Green Tomato Salsa

Ingredients
  Vidalia onion 1 Medium, sliced 1/2 inch thick
  Extra-virgin olive oil 2 Tablespoon (Plus More For Brushing)
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Unripe green tomatoes 1 Pound
  Chopped cilantro 2 Tablespoon
  Red tomato 1 Large, cored and coarsely chopped
  Fresh lime juice 1 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Light a grill. Brush the onion with oil; season with salt and pepper. Grill the onion and the green tomatoes over high heat, turning once, until charred; about 6 minutes for the onion, and 8 minutes for the tomato.
2. Chop the onion into 1-inch pieces and transfer to a bowl. Core, peel and coarsely chop the green tomatoes and add to the bowl. Stir in the cilantro, red tomato, lime juice and the 2 tablespoons of oil. Season the salsa with salt and pepper and serve.
