|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Yellow corn meal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onions||2 Large, chopped|
|Canned tomatoes||16 Ounce (1 Medium Size Can)|
|Chili powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned ripe olives||6 Ounce (1 Small Can)|
Mix ground beef and onions in hot skillet or deep pot, stir and cook a little and add tomatoes.
Let come to boil, add corn meal, juice of olives and keep stirring.
If too dry add water.
Add salt, pepper and chili powder.
Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
Remove, add olives, place in baking dish and when ready to eat bake for 3/4 hour in 350° oven.
This is nice served with crackers, celery and shredded lettuce.
