Flour Tortillas

Ingredients
  Flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Shortening 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Hot water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (not boiling)
Directions

Mix the first 4 ingredients.
Add water.
Knead until dough is elastic.
Make into balls size of a golf ball.
Let set 10 minutes.
Roll over into round circles like pie crust about 9 inch diameter.
Bake on a hot, hot griddle like hot cakes.
Turn over when brown on each side.
Now you may add any filling you like; meat, beans etc.
to make tacos, tortillas, burritos or crepes.
