Beefy Mexican Soup
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Water||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Chili powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Canned whole tomatoes||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned whole kernel corn||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
Cook and stir ground beef and onion in Dutch oven until beef is brown; drain.
Stir in Hamburger Helper sauce mix, water, chili powder, garlic salt, salt and tomatoes (with liquid).
Break up tomatoes with fork.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.
Stir in Hamburger Helper macaroni, and corn (with liquid).
Cover and cook 10 minutes.
Garnish with corn chips if desired.
