Taco Salad

I LOVE mexican food! This recipe is sooooo good! You can eat it on all phases of dieting with a few variations. If you are still trying to lose weight, leave out (or go easy) on the sprinkle cheese and skip the avocado. If you're on maintenance, you can eat it just like I make it in the video. You can even add some sour cream if you like but it really doesn't need it! The homemade taco seasoning is way lower in carbs than store-bought taco seasoing!
  Chili powder 2 Tablespoon
  Paprika 5 Teaspoon
  Cumin 4 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Onion powder 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic powder 2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cayenne pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Ground chicken 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Homemade taco seasoning 1 Teaspoon
  Lettuce 1
  Salsa 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Shredded cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Avocado 1
Sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Brown the ground chicken in a skillet until it's no longer pink.
Add 1 tsp of homemade taco seasoning mix and stir until the chicken is covered with seasoning.
Put lettuce on a plate.
Top with cooked ground chicken.
Add salsa.
If you are on maintenance, add cheese and avocado (and/or sour cream).
Note: You can add a sprinkle of cheese to the salad if you are doing the diet, but for best weight loss results, you should limit cheese as much as possible.
