Chili Con Carne

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Onion 1 Small, chopped
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Canned kidney beans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Tomato soup 10 Ounce (1 Tin)
  Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Vinegar 1 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Melt fat in a heavy saucepan and brown meat and onion.
2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 min., stirring occasionally.
