|Canned beef consomme||10 1⁄2 Ounce, undiluted (1 Can)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||8 Clove (40 gm), pressed|
|Canned tomato sauce||16 Ounce (2 Cans, 8 Ounces Each)|
|Chili powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Rubbed sage||2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cumin||1 Teaspoon|
Pour consomme into measuring cup; add enough water to measure 2 cups.
Combine consomme and remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan, stirring until smooth.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
