Soy Oil Chili Con Carne
|Ground beef||2 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Celery||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Soy oil/Corn oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Tomatoes||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Fresh Or Canned)|
|Tomato puree||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cumin||2 Teaspoon, ground|
|Chili powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cooked kidney beans||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
In heavy skillet, brown ground beef, onion, celery, green pepper, and garlic in oil.
Stir in tomatoes and tomato puree.
Add seasonings and cover; simmer for 45 minutes to one hour.
Add kidney beans and adjust seasoning Continue to simmer 30 minutes longer.
