Chili Con Queso

Ingredients
  Minced onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Canned tomato sauce 8 Ounce
  Canned green chili 4 Ounce, chopped
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Tabasco 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Or More, To Taste)
  Large curd cottage cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sharp cheddar cheese 1⁄2 Pound, grated
Directions

Cook onion in butter until tender but not brown.
Add tomato sauce, chopped chili and salt.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Stir in Tabasco, cottage cheese and grated Cheddar cheese; cook slowly until Cheddar cheese melts.
