Mexican Salad With French Dressing
|Shredded lettuce||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Sliced green onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground beef||1 Pound, browned|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ranch style beans||1 Can (10 oz), drained|
|Commercial french dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chili powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Cheddar cheese wedge||1 , shredded, divided|
|Tortilla chips||1⁄2 Pound|
Combine lettuce and green onion in large salad bowl; let stand.
Into skillet with browned beef, add onion and cook until tender.
Stir in beans, French dressing, water, and chili powder; simmer 15 minutes.
Add meat mixture and 1 1/2 cups cheese to lettuce and green onion.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese and serve immediately with tortilla chips.
