Mexican Salad With French Dressing

Ingredients
  Shredded lettuce 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Sliced green onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ground beef 1 Pound, browned
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Ranch style beans 1 Can (10 oz), drained
  Commercial french dressing 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chili powder 1 Tablespoon
  Cheddar cheese wedge 1 , shredded, divided
  Tortilla chips 1⁄2 Pound
Directions

Combine lettuce and green onion in large salad bowl; let stand.
Into skillet with browned beef, add onion and cook until tender.
Stir in beans, French dressing, water, and chili powder; simmer 15 minutes.
Add meat mixture and 1 1/2 cups cheese to lettuce and green onion.
Toss lightly.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese and serve immediately with tortilla chips.
