90 Second Roasted Salsa Verde

Sometimes salsas right from the jar just don't cut it. If you want something fresh or want to add a bit more or less kick then making your own salsa is your best choice, and Chef Cari has you covered with this recipe.

Ingredients

Tomatillos 9 , husks and stems removed, halved ((about 2 1/2 pounds))
Cilantro 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
White onion 1/2 Large , diced
Kosher salt 2 Pinch
Serrano chiles 3 , stems and seeds removed
Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm)
Lime juice 2 Tablespoon
Black pepper 1 Pinch

Directions

MAKING:                        

In a food processor, combine tomatillos, serranos, onion, kosher salt, cilantro and process until smooth.

 

SERVING:                       

Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
