How to Make White Bean Chili

This chili is a crowd pleaser, packed with hearty beans, chunks of chicken and seasoned to perfection. No doubt this recipe will leave your guest full and satisfied.

Ingredients

Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
Chicken breast 1 Pound (cubed and seasoned with Salt and Pepper)
Onion 1 , chop
Garlic cloves 3 , mince
Jalapeno 1 , seeded, thinly sliced
Chili powder 2 Tablespoon
Cumin 2 Teaspoon
Oregano 2 Teaspoon
Cannellini beans 31 Ounce , drained, rinsed (2 cans, 15.5 ounce each)
Chicken stock 4 Cup (64 tbs) (reduced sodium)
Green chilies 4 Ounce (1 can, mild)
Cream 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)

Directions

Making

In a large pot over high heat add in olive oil along with the seasoned chicken breast; brown for 5 minutes. Turn heat to medium and add in onions, cook for 5 minutes or until translucent. Then add in garlic and jalapeños and cook for an additional 2 minutes. 

Season chicken and vegetables with chili powder, cumin and oregano; stir to combine. 

Add the cannellini beans, chicken stock, green chilies into the pot; stir to combine and simmer for at least 30 minutes. Right before serving add in cream and turn heat off. 

Serving

Serve white bean chili with a variety of garnishes if desired and enjoy!
