Jicama Lobster Street Tacos

PF Chang's has added "Jicama Street Tacos" to their menu and I'm Hooked! This recipe was inspired by their new menu.

Ingredients

Coconut flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Sweet rice flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
White pepper 1 Teaspoon
Cayenne pepper 1 Pinch
Sea salt To Taste
Jicama 1 Medium , peeled and thinly sliced
Lobster meat 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) ((For deep frying))

Directions

GETTING READY

1.  Heat the oil to 350 degrees F.

 

MAKING

2.  In a large bowl, combine coconut flour, sweet rice flour, white pepper, cayenne pepper and sea salt. Stir well to combine.

3.  Cut the lobster meat into bite size pieces and put them in this mixture to coat evenly.

4.  Add the breaded lobster chunks to the hot oil and fry until golden brown.

 

FINALIZING

5.  Place the jicama slices in a taco holder as shown in the video. Put the fried lobster nuggets in each jicama taco and top with some hot sauce.

 

SERVING

6.  Serve accomanied with lemon wedges.
