Delicious Chili Con Carne
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Thinly sliced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Ground beef||3⁄4 Pound|
|Boiling water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Peeled tomatoes||20 Ounce|
|Chili powder||2 Tablespoon (According To Taste)|
|Canned kidney beans||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Heat oil in kettle.
Cook onion, pepper, and garlic about 10 minutes.
Increase heat; stir until meat has browned.
Add water, tomatoes, chili powder, paprika, and a little salt.
Cover; cook over low heat about 45 minutes.
Add beans; cook 30 minutes.
Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
Eat with dry salted crackers or with rice
