Healthy Meals for Family
Making healthy meals for your family can be a challenging and difficult task. Knowing what your family likes to eat and being able to provide them healthy and nutritious meals on their preferences can be difficult at times. But no worries…here I have shared few recipes which you can serve as healthy meals for your family.
What is a healthy meal? Healthy meal is just not about counting calories, measuring portions or reducing carbs. In one word, I can say that a healthy meal is all about what you eat rather than how much you eat. Let’s take look at most perfect meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) of the day:
Healthy Breakfast Recipe: Scrambled Tofu
Scrambled tofu is very healthy than scrambled eggs. You just need to add some onions, green peppers, or any vegetables, soy sauce, garlic powder and black pepper to the tofu. Stir fry the tofu in little olive oil. You can eat this dish with whole grain bread. The recipe is quite fast and delicious as well.
You can also include fresh fruits and juices in your everyday breakfast. The fresh fruits are always nutritious and keep you fit and wholesome for the entire day.
Healthy Lunch Recipe: Beef and Cheddar Sandwich
Beef and Cheddar Sandwich is a very wholesome lunch item which does not require much time to prepare and also includes very less ingredients. You just need to stack the things such as roasted beef, low fat cheese, shredded lettuce, slice of tomato and little Dijon mustard into the whole wheat bread. You can add a little balsamic vinegar if desired. This whole one sandwich will offer 786 mg of sodium, 39 g fibre and 42 g protein.
Healthy Dinner Recipe: Tuna Casserole
Tuna casserole is a very tasty, colourful and nutritious recipe. It contains all the vital ingredients which will help to protect the cardio vascular system. For making this dish, you need to prepare pasta without salt and oil. Take a bowl and mix your favourite vegetables (such as carrots, broccoli or cauliflower), tuna, roasted pepper and pasta. Sprinkle little cheese and bake the dish in a preheated oven for half an hour at 350 degrees. Enjoy the dish to its maximum as you do not need to worry about the fat or cholesterol as the recipe contains few mg of these.
There is one mantra about healthy life which I want to share with you: “Living a healthy life is all about eating a healthy meal every day”.
Incorporate these healthy meals in your everyday lifestyle and you do not need to be worried about your health.
