Peach And Melon Boats
|Honeydew melon||1 Small|
|Canned peach halves||6|
|Syrup from canned peaches||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Port||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
1 Cut the melon into quarters and remove the seeds.
Run a sharp knife carefully along the base of each quarter to cut-away the flesh from the rind.
Slice the melon across widthways and position the slices to left and right alternately, overlapping the base, to resemble oars.
2 Dice two of the canned peach halves and sprinkle over each quarter of melon.
Pour over the peach syrup and port.
3 Place a peach half on each melon portion.
Skewer 2 cocktail cherries on each of 4 cocktail sticks and use to secure each peach.
Chill and serve
