Rosy Melon And Strawberries

Ingredients
  Honeydew melon 1⁄4
  Charentais/Cantaloupe melon 1⁄2
  Rose wine 5 Fluid Ounce (150 Milliliter, 2/3 Cup)
  Rose water 3 Teaspoon
  Strawberries 6 Ounce, washed and hulled (Small, 175 Gram)
  Rose petals 4 (To Garnish)
Directions

1. Scoop out the seeds from both melons with a spoon. Then carefully remove the skin, taking care not to remove too much flesh.
2. Cut the melon flesh into thin strips and place in a bowl. Pour over the wine and sufficient rose water to taste. Mix together gently, cover and leave to chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
3. Halve the strawberries and carefully mix into the melon. Allow the melon and strawberries to stand at room temperature for about 15 minutes for the flavours to develop - if the melon is too cold, there will be little flavour.
4. Arrange on individual serving plates and serve sprinkled with a few rose petals, if wished.
