Melon Polka Dot Mold

Ingredients
  Cherry flavored gelatin 6 Ounce
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Cream cheese 8 Ounce
  Finely chopped pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Melon balls 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Small Ones)
Directions

Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups boiling water.
Stir in 1 3/4 cups cold water and lemon juice.
Pour 1 cup gelatin into 6 1/2 cup ring mold.
Chill till partially set.
Shape cheese into 40 balls; roll in nuts.
Arrange 9 each cheese and melon balls alternately in mold.
Chill till almost firm.
Meanwhile, chill remaining gelatin till partially set; fold in remaining cheese and melon balls.
Pour over gelatin in mold.
Chill till firm.
