Potato Moussaka

Ingredients
Potatoes - 1 1/2 lb [750 g], thinly sliced
Fresh mince - 12 oz [375 g]
Onion - 4 oz [100 g]
Tomatoes - 8 oz can
Butter - 2 oz [50 g]
Parsley
Salt and pepper
White Sauce;
Butter - 1 oz [25 g]
Flour - 1 oz [25 g]
Milk - 1/2 pint [250 ml]
Cheddar cheese - 1 oz [25 g], grated
Egg -1, beaten
Salt and pepper
Directions

MAKING
1) In a pan, heat butter and add meat, onions, and tomatoes and fry.
2) Arrange overlapping slices of potato on the base of a greased casserole and season to taste.
3) Top with a layer of the meat mixture.
4) Tie peat till all the ingredients are used and let the top most layer be potato.
5) Add in the beaten egg and cheese to the white sauce and transfer into the casserole.
6) Place in the oven for approximately 1 hour at 375°F (190°C), Gas Mark 5.

SERVING
7) Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
