Falafel With Falafel Mix

Ingredients
  Dry falafel mix 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salad oil 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For deep frying)
  Unflavored yogurt/Yogurt sauce 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Stir together falafil mix and water until water is well absorbed; then shape into 3/4-inch balls.
In a small deep pan, heat 1 inch of salad oil to 350° on a deep-fat-frying thermometer.
Immerse falafil balls gently in oil; do not crowd pan.
Cook about 2 1/2 minutes or until browned; drain on paper towels.
Serve hot. or cover with clear plastic film and refrigerate until next day; freeze for longer storage.
To reheat, place falafil (refrigerated or thawed frozen) on a rimmed baking sheet and bake, uncovered, in a 350° oven for 5 minutes or until hot throughout.
Serve plain or with Yogurt Sauce.
