Fennel Au Gratin
|Fennel||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cut off the feathery leaves and use only the root section.
Remove any discoloured outer leaves, cut into pieces and wash well.
Place in a Dan of salted boiling water and cook until tender.
Drain and place in a buttered oven dish.
Spread with grated cheese and crumbs, dot with ' butter and place under grill until cheese is golden.
