Spicy Mediterranean Prawns

Ingredients
  Medium shrimp 1⁄2 Pound
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Paprika 1 Teaspoon
  Cayenne pepper 1 Dash
  Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
  Tomato juice 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Brown sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Red wine vinegar 2 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Red chili 1 Small, finely chopped
Directions

Peel prawns, leaving tails on if desired, and put in a medium-size bowl with rest of ingredients; mix together and leave at least 1 hour.
To make Piquant Sauce, put all ingredients in a small saucepan and simmer 15 minutes.
Before deep-frying prawns in hot oil, drain and arrange on a serving plate.
Serve Piquant Sauce hot.
