Sicilian Fennel Salad

  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed and chopped
  Cucumber 1 , seeds removed and thinly sliced
  Onion 1 , thinly sliced
  Peeled orange 1 (In Sections)
  Tomatoes 4 , sliced
  Fennel bulb 1 , sliced
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Chopped basil 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Fresh basil 1 Tablespoon (To Garnish)

Sprinkle the garlic over a serving dish.
Layer the prepared salad vegetables on the platter and chill.
Mix together the oil, lemon juice, pepper and basil, pour over the salad and serve.
Garnish with basil.
