Mediterranean Ham Buffet

Ingredients
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Chicken bouillon cubes 2 , crushed
  Instant minced onion 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄2 Teaspoon (If Desired)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Turmeric 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Rice 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Brand)
  Marinated artichoke hearts 12 Ounce (2 Jars, 6 Ounce Each)
  Mayonnaise 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Curry powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Green onion with tops 2 , chopped
  Green pepper 1⁄2 Medium, chopped
  Pitted black olives 14 , sliced
  Diced cooked ham 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Crisp salad greens 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil.
Stir in bouillon cubes, onion, salt, garlic salt, monosodium glutamate, if desired, sugar, turmeric and rice.
Cover tightly and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Let stand, covered, until all water is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
Cool.
Drain artichokes; reserve marinade.
Cut artichokes in half.
In a large bowl, combine marinade, mayonnaise and curry powder.
Fold in cooled rice, green onions, green pepper, black olives, ham and artichokes.
Chill 4 hours or overnight.
