Grilled Tuna Salad Mediterranean Style
|Fresh tuna||1⁄4 Pound|
|Extra virgin olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Boiled potatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs), diced|
|Onion||1 , chopped|
|Green bell pepper||1|
|Green beans||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped, drained|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dried basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sliced tomato||1 (For Garnish)|
Cut tuna into 3/4-inch strips.
Brush tuna with oil.
Sprinkle tuna with garlic powder and cook over medium-high heat, 2 minutes on each side.
Tuna will be firm to the touch and opaque.
Do not overcook.
Remove tuna to mixing bowl.
Flake into small chunks.
Mix in potato, onions, pepper, beans, mayonnaise, basil, salt, and pepper.
Arrange lettuce leaf on each plate.
Spoon tuna salad onto lettuce leaf and garnish with tomato.
