|Minced meat||3⁄4 Pound (Raw)|
|Chopped onions||8 Ounce|
|Grated cheese||4 Tablespoon|
|Chopped parsley||4 Tablespoon|
|Chopped tomatoes||8 Ounce|
Melt about 2 oz. (50 g.) of Ihe butter or margarine and fry in it the meat, onions, parsley, and tomatoes.
Grease an 8 inch (20 cm.) cake tin.
Peel and slice the potatoes very thinly.
Put a layer of potatoes on the bottom of the tin, add a layer of meat, and repeat the layers, finishing with potato.
Sprinkle with the wine.
Melt 1/2 oz. (1 Tbs.) butter or margarine in a small pan.
Add the flour, mix, and cook for a minute.
Add the milk and stir until it boils and thickens.
Remove from the heat and add the slightly beaten egg and the grated cheese.
Pour over the potatoes and meat.
Bake in a moderate oven for 1 hour.
Cut in wedges or squares for serving.
