Mutton & Rice Stuffed Grape Leaves
|Ground mutton||1 Pound|
|Cooked rice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Medium, finely chopped|
|Eggs||2 , slightly beaten|
|Broth||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
In a large bowl mix thoroughly: meat, rice, onion, eggs, seasoning.
Rinse grape leaves and wipe dry.
On each, put 1 tablespoon meat mixture.
Carefully roll up the leaves.
Tie with thread.
Oil bottom of clay baker.
Place stuffed leaves in tight rows.
Moisten with broth.
Close and bake.
Remove thread before serving.
