Sausage And Bell Pepper Meatloaf

Ingredients
  Tomato sauce 15 Ounce, divided (Use 1 Can)
  Eggs 2 Large
  Dried sage 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon, divided
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper 3⁄4 Teaspoon, divided
  15% fat lean ground beef 1 1⁄4 Pound
  Sausage 12 Ounce
  Chopped onion 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Chopped green bell pepper 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Finely crushed crackers 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Such As Ritz)
  Garlic cloves 2 Large, minced
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Whisk 1/2 cup tomato sauce, eggs, 1 teaspoon sage, salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in large bowl.
Add ground beef, sausage, onion, bell pepper, cracker crumbs, and garlic; blend well.
Pack mixture into 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
Mix remaining tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon sage, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in small bowl; pour over meatloaf.
Bake meatloaf until thermometer inserted into center registers 160°F, about 1 hour 10 minutes.
