  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Soft bread crumbs 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (2 Slices)
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ground beef 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Tomatoes 2 Medium, peeled and sliced
  American cheese slices 6
  Egg whites 3
  Dairy sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All purpose flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Egg yolks 3

In large bowl combine 1 beaten egg and milk.
Stir in soft bread crumbs, onion, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
Add ground beef; mix well.
Pat meat mixture into an 8x8x2-inch baking dish.
Bake in 350° oven for 25 minutes.
Drain off excess fat.
Arrange tomato slices atop partially baked meat loaf; sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.
Cover with american cheese slices.
Beat the egg whites till soft peaks form; set aside.
In small mixer bowl combine sour cream, flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and dash pepper.
Add egg yolks; beat till smooth.
Fold beaten egg whites into yolk mixture.
Pour egg mixture over cheese covered meat.
Return to oven; bake about 30 minutes or till golden brown.
Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
