Cheese-Filled Meat Loaf

The cheese filled meatloaf is a cheese and meat layered loaf that can be microwaved for a quick meal. Made with hamburger meat and breadcrumbs flavored with pizza sauce and garlic, the meat is layered with cottage cheese along with veggies like mushrooms and onions for a filling and flavorful dish can be served with a side of rice or mashed potatoes or even green vegetables.
Ingredients
  Lean hamburger 1 Pound
  Dry bread crumbs 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Pizza sauce 10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 can)
  Egg 1
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Small curd cottage cheese 12 Ounce (1 carton)
  Canned mushroom stems and pieces 4 Ounce, drained (1 can)
  Dried parsley flakes 1 Tablespoon
  Italian seasoning 3⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix hamburger, bread crumbs, 1/2 cup of the pizza sauce, 1 egg, the onion, salt and garlic powder; reserve.
Mix remaining ingredients for cheese filling.
Press 1/3 of the meat mixture in bottom of ob long baking dish, 10 x 6 x 1 1/2 inches.
Spread cheese filling over meat.
Spoon remaining meat mixture onto top; spread to cover filling.
Cover loosely and microwave 10 minutes; turn dish one quarter turn.
Microwave until meat is firm in center, about 7 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
Microwave remaining pizza sauce in dish to boiling, 1 to 2 minutes; serve over Meat Loaf.
