Stuffed Meat Loaf
|Lean ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Lean ground pork||3⁄4 Pound|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Seedless raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Toasted bread cubes||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Minced onion||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Minced parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Beef broth/Water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
Mix beef, pork, the 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1/4 tea spoon pepper, and egg.
On a sheet of waxed paper, pat out meat mixture evenly to form a square about 1/2 inch thick.
Mix raisins, bread, onion, parsley, sage, pepper, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and broth.
Pat in an even layer over the meat.
Roll as for a jelly roll and place in a baking pan seam side down.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350Â° oven about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Serve sliced, hot or cold.
