Family Meat Loaf
|Lean ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Rolled oats||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), quick cooking variety|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Poultry seasoning||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Catsup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Prepared mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, rolled oats, milk, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, eggs, Worcestershire, and onion.
Put in a loaf pan (about 5 by 9 inches).
Set aside while you prepare the glaze.
In a measuring cup, combine the catsup brown sugar, mustard, and nutmeg.
Spread evenly over the meat loaf.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350Â° oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes
