Gold-topped Beef Loaf

Ingredients
  Dry bread crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Evaporated milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Hamburger 1 Pound
  Sausage meat 1⁄2 Pound
  Potatoes 2 , grated (Raw)
  Onion 1 Small, diced
  Steak sauce 1 Tablespoon (Dark)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Meat extract 1 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Corn bread topping 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

Soak crumbs in milk, and blend in remaining ingredients, except topping, thoroughly.
Spread 1/2 topping mixture in bottom of greased loaf pan.
Evenly cover with meat, and top with remaining corn bread.
Bake at 350°F. 1 1 1/2 hours.
Cool slightly, and invert on breadboard; then turn right side up onto heated platter.
