Scotch Beef Loaf

Ingredients
  Hamburger 2 Pound
  Rolled oats 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Chopped onion 3 Tablespoon
  Chopped celery 3 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Summer savory 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Blend meat and oats together thoroughly.
Mix milk and eggs, and add to meat.
Add remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly.
Turn into lightly greased 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pan large enough to leave about 1/2-inch space at top.
Bake about 1 1/2 hours at 350°F.
Let loaf stand in pan a few minutes before turning out on serving platter.
Note: For an interesting change in flavor, try beef broth or tomato juice in place of milk.
Or spread top of loaf with chili sauce or ketchup before putting in oven.
